The Chronicle of Higher Education had a really neat article today about the educational attainment of state legislators. I think you probably have to have a subscription to view the article, but here’s the link anyway.
I did also take a screenshot (below) of one of the more interesting findings pertaining to Louisiana. Click to enlarge.
Louisiana has the highest percentage of state lawmakers who went to college in-state (80.3%). 55.3% of legislators attending college in-state is the national average.
All of the statistics from this report are quite interesting. I thought I would just do a quick post about this, but the entire interactive tool is worth checking out via the Chronicle.
